Isabelle Hattink

In 2001 I graduated from the St. Joost Art Academy in Breda (Photographic Design) and after that I immediately started as an independent all-round photographer.

In terms of work, I have experimented with versatile subjects and assignments over the past 20 years, including business portraits for magazines, interior photography and macro photography.
All this was very educational in developing my own style.

Capturing the connection between people and telling their stories is where my heart lies.
Your emotions, your memories, your story.
From all the people I have had the opportunity to have in front of my lens, I get back that they recognize themselves in their story. Whether beautiful, crazy, intense, quiet or exuberant: every emotion is welcome in my photography.

I have specialized in journalistic wedding photography.
In 2017 I was named Fearless Photographer of the Year (the most important photo competition for wedding photographers) and since October 2021 I have been an ambassador for Nikon Europe.

In recent years I have taken and taught many courses myself. I consider myself fortunate that I have been able to travel all over the world to talk about my passions and learning moments at international conferences and workshops.
It is a great honor that I can inspire other photographers at these events how they can discover their own voice.

Finally, some personal facts about me: I have a beautiful teenage daughter and a sweet boyfriend. I live in vibrant Rotterdam and I love dancing, terraces, parties, good food and I have a busy social life.
